Amanda M. Crozier
Fine Art Painting
Born and raised in Calgary Alberta, Amanda has been inspired by the vast prairies and the majestic Rocky Mountains from a very young age.
Amanda is a realistic painter who loves to capture the spirit of Alberta’s landscapes and its animals with oil on canvas, transporting the viewer to that place and moment in time. Amanda’s first love was working with watercolour and she will often bring those with her while traveling.
A graduate of the University of Calgary, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (with Distinction). She now runs her own art school, teaching her students in various mediums like oil, acrylic, watercolour and pastel.
You can find her work at The Painted Moose Gallery in Bragg Creek. Amanda has exhibited regularly at the Calgary Stampede Western Oasis. Eleven days of exhibiting alongside some of Canadas top artists is often the highlight of the year.
She has also exhibited for over 8 years at the prestigious equestrian facility Spruce Meadows Masters’. Amanda had the great honor of being introduced to the Dutchess of Edenborough when she visited the Spruce Meadows 50th Anniversary event.
When not painting in her home studio, Amanda can often be found indulging in two of her other passions: riding the foothills on her horse and walking her dog with a camera in hand.
